The Ko\u010devje-Ribnica region is marked by handicrafts<\/strong> (woodenware and pottery), the Ko\u010devje villages<\/strong>, the water coverage<\/strong>, and numerous culinary treats<\/strong>. The long and interesting tradition has left a mark to this day, thus the most resounding events are still the Ribnica Fair, the cultural and ethnological event \u00bbTamburanje v Kostele\u00ab and the Fair Day in Sodra\u017eica. Visitors are greeted from afar by the two bell towers of the Ribnica Church of St. Stephen<\/a>. They were built according to the plans by the famous architect Jo\u017ee Ple\u010dnik. Many important Slovenians were born in the Ribnica Valley.
